THE BUZZ: Nearly every review I've encountered confirms my initial reaction to this plot outline: a good movie is hiding within the overworked and convoluted narrative. Looks like another case of a foreign director losing his way with an American production; in this case, it's Stefan Ruzowitzky, whose The Counterfeiters won the Best Foreign Language Oscar.
A thriller that follows two siblings who decide to fend for themselves in the wake of a botched casino heist, and their unlikely reunion during another family's Thanksgiving celebration.
